19th June 2020 – Coronavirus STILL IN LOCKDOWN Day 88 in the UK

STILL IN Coronavirus LOCKDOWN – Day 88

Trolley locking key.
This spring loaded key allows me to remove my trolley handle and make it into a cart with 4 wheels.

STILL Staying at home – STILL Protecting the NHS – STILL saving lives

STILL Keeping safe

So the alert level comes down to 3 from 4 after we start relaxing lockdown and we still don’t have a really working test track and trace system. All seems the wrong way around to me.

Schools will be allowed a 1 metre social distance and yet shops have to keep to 2 metres. Apart from being more risky for kids and their relatives, not to mention the teachers, such mixed messages only cause confusion.

Is it surprising that trust in the government is so low that people don’t give their contact details when tested or want to use an App which collects personal details and there is no way to know that data won’t get into the wrong hands.

Consistency, consistency, consistency.

Our lives in the blog:

  1. The Foundations of Yoga‘. Today we did ‘downward dog’, hard on the knee joints.
  2. The wet weather continues and power walking was just about fitted in for the rest of the family. As for me I had a tough time putting a blind up in the bedroom. The walls have had too many curtains and blinds in the past and finding a decent fixing proved very difficult not mention very frustrating. Job done now. Well earnt beer and football!
  3. The Kiss is a famous picture by Klimt and is recreated at every wedding!
Wedding ceremony first kiss of bride and groom.
This couple really enjoyed their first kiss at this ceremony at Shearsby Bath in Leicestershire.

Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and Spa wedding kiss.
This was a very enthusiastic kiss at a wedding ceremony at Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and Spa

Kissing for the first time as a married couple
The first kiss after getting married.

Ceremony kiss by bride and groom.
Once married, as here at Hillbark Hotel and Spa on the Wirral it is customary to kiss.

  4. Write this blog.

More time spent today with Oona, indoors all today for me, still raining here in Chester.
