I have photographed a number of weddings at Llyndir Hall in Rossett near Chester and Wrexham and enjoyed every one. Debbie and Rob had a particularly happy time recently and took great pleasure having their pictures taken at a beautiful venue. The couple also enjoyed fantastic music played by Oona Linnett on her beautiful harp. This time Oona played for the ceremony and the drinks reception.
Debbie’s dress looked wonderful and she really enjoyed getting ready and then being photographed. Getting ready at the Hall made sure Debbie was only ‘fashionably late’ and gave me time to photograph all the preparations.
I always like to prepare some of the images as black and whites along with some other editing. No images are given to the newlyweds straight from the camera. I work hard to present them to the very highest standard.
Here the couple spent a moment thanking Oona for her very much appreciated music, which together with her lovely instrument really add to the atmosphere of a very special event.
It is not always easy for the newlyweds to snatch a few moments away from their family and friends but the photographs can give them an excuse. I always try to give them a few minutes alone before or after the pictures to enjoy each others company and reflect on a very busy day. At Llyndir Hall they have gardens in which some special images can be captured whether during the day or the evening.
It is always a privilege to be invited to take some photographs in the bridal suite, and Debbie and Rob have a chance to take a breath. Always elegant places the rooms always offer good opportunities to capture the newlyweds on their special day.
